Two ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Academy staff members and four ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Academy scholars—two high school scholars and two college scholars—presented at the North Carolina College Access Conference in Durham Feb. 22.

Twenty-two high school students who make up the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Academy Beta Class were honored May 4 in an afternoon ceremony that featured remarks from ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ President Leo M. Lambert, reflections from the scholars themselves, and a rendition of “Grateful” by one graduating senior who will study music at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ beginning this fall.

Darris Means '05, associate director of the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Academy, received the Bobby E. Leach Award from the Southern Association for College Student Affairs, an honor that recognizes a student affairs or higher education professional who has significantly contributed to the development of multicultural relations on a college or university campus.
