Della Marie Vickers McKinnon ’62 has witnessed ���ϲ�����’s evolution through decades of change. Being a part of a remarkable five-generation family legacy that has both shaped the campus and deeply enriched the surrounding community.

A graduate of the M.A. in Interactive Media program, Buck returns to the School of Communications to guide development efforts that advance student opportunities, academic priorities and alumni engagement.

One of the university's most beloved faculty members for more than three decades passed away on Feb. 13, 2026, leaving a legacy shaped by his work with thousands of students and "a powerful voice that lifted up the most cherished values of the institution."

Marken, a senior partner at Gallup and ’08 alumna, joins President Connie Ledoux Book on “���ϲ����� Beyond the Bricks” to reflect on the responsibility of polling, measuring trust in higher education, and her ���ϲ����� experience.

The ���ϲ����� alumnus has been named coordinating producer for ���ϲ����� Sports Vision, where he will oversee student crews and strengthen mentorship and professional development within the program.

The January program brought together alumni for hands-on training in practical, ethical and workplace-ready artificial intelligence skills.

The three short films will have their world premiere this July at the first ���ϲ����� Los Angeles Alumni Short Film Festival.

The recognition follows her recent honor as a Top 10 CNN Hero in 2023, another milestone in the journey that began when she founded ScholarCHIPS, a nonprofit providing college scholarships and community support for students with incarcerated parents.

Drawing on a childhood shaped by constant change, Arron Jones-Williams ’13 turned his optimism and drive into a business devoted to giving rescue dogs a second chance. Through Rescue Treats, he continues the spirit of leadership, compassion and connection he first discovered at ���ϲ�����.

Hosted by the Department of Sport Management, the annual Sport Management Symposium – held in Turner Theatre – will bring together students and industry leaders for an in-depth look at how broadcast, streaming and technology are reshaping live sports.
