The Pendulum student newspaper wins national Pacemaker Award

The Pendulum, ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ's weekly student newspaper, received a 2009 national Pacemaker Award from the Associated Collegiate Press on Oct. 31 at the organization's joint conference with College Media Advisers in Austin, Texas. The Pacemaker is the highest honor ACP gives to its members.

Charlie Remy ’07 to be on radio show discussing Asperger’s syndrome

Charlie Remy ’07, a double major in Spanish and Women’s and Gender Studies while at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ, will be a guest on a live Boston radio call-in program Sunday night when he talks about his experience with Asperger’s syndrome, a high-functioning form of autism.

Hudgins sets national record in ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ football win

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ's Terrell Hudgins became the FCS career leader in receiving yards on a 44-yard grab on the first play from scrimmage as the Phoenix knocked off the Western Carolina Catamounts 42-17 in Southern Conference football action on Saturday.

LSM students raise funds at Champions Tour Event

The LSM Society managed and staffed the concession operation at the SAS – Champions Tour PGA Golf Tournament in Cary, N.C., at Prestonwood Country Club from Sept. 23-27, 2009, marking the fifth consecutive year that students from the LSM program have worked this event.
