Local alumni have a special opportunity to help spread the word about ���ϲ�����’s new regional center located in South End.

Twelve students are enrolled in the new ���ϲ����� in Charlotte Regional Center this fall, participating in the university’s sport management immersive semester and gaining real-world experience with the Atlantic Coast Conference, NASCAR, Fox Sports and other Charlotte-based organizations.

Last Wednesday, Sept. 13, over 750 alumni, parents and friends gathered in the Big Apple to hear about the newest updates happening on ���ϲ�����’s campus.

The ���ϲ����� alumnus, who has worked at The New York Times since 2021, recently joined the publication’s Culture desk, where he will focus on pop culture news and the intersection of sports and culture.

Associate Dean and Professor Tony Weaver moderated the panel discussion following the official opening of the new ���ϲ����� in Charlotte.

���ϲ����� in Charlotte will serve students, parents, alumni and the community, offering collaborative learning, networking and professional development opportunities.

���ϲ����� continues to be the leader in the “Programs to Look For” feature as the only college or university in the country ranked in the top 20 in all eight categories of academic programs linked to student success and positive learning outcomes.

College roommates turned lifelong friends, Horbatuck and Orfe formed Driftline, a water sport activewear company.

���ϲ����� looks forward to welcoming alumni back to campus for Homecoming & Reunion Weekend Oct. 20-22. Registration for the weekend's many exciting events is officially open to all alumni.
