"Fresh. Friendly. Fast." For Burney Jennings '87, president and CEO of the North Carolina-based Biscuitville restaurant chain, it's those qualities - and in that order - that have made the company founded by his father, Maurice Jennings '57, such a success. The younger Jennings shared his family's story with a crowded LaRose Digital Theatre on Sept. 15, 2010, in the annual Legends of Business program sponsored by the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business.

Former ���ϲ����� Phoenix football standout receiver Terrell Hudgins will be honored with the retirement of his jersey prior to ���ϲ�����’s October 2 game against the Samford Bulldogs. The ceremony will take place on the field before the scheduled 1:30 p.m. Family Weekend kickoff.

Tyronna McKoy Hooker G’09 and Debra Briggs Hennelly ’88 have been honored in recent weeks as Teachers of the Year in their respective home counties in North Carolina.

In an effort to share relevant, career development information with students and alumni, Career Services has created the “Career Stories” interactive tool. The tool allows viewers to watch interviews of ���ϲ����� alumni, parents and students discussing common career development issues such as choosing a major, participating in experiential activities, networking and answering difficult interview questions.

The Business Journal of the Triad featured 2008 ���ϲ����� MBA alumnus Kyle Regan, owner of the Greensboro, N.C., coffee shop Coffeeology, in its Sept. 30 issue. Coffeeology celebrated its first anniversary this month, and the article traces Regan's path toward small business ownership and the twists and turns he's taken.

During this year’s Senior Class Giving Campaign, members of the Class of 2011 will be encouraged to make a gift to the university to show their support for their ���ϲ����� experiences.
