Current spring semester ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ in Los Angeles students joined with Los Angeles area alumni in celebration of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Day 2024 in Los Angeles.

The longtime university registrar and recipient of the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Medallion retired in 2012 after a 34-year career at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ.

Students heard from six alumni who shared advice about careers in K-12 and higher education, law enforcement, social work and entrepreneurship at the event.

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ is gearing up for its annual day of giving on March 7, with 24 hours full of fun both on campus and around the globe.

The work of Nolan Elingburg '11, G'12, Joe Bruno '14, Carly Thomas ’19 and Jack Norcross '21 was celebrated at the 38th annual Midsouth Emmy Awards ceremony held Feb. 17 in Nashville.

The support of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Day Champions is critical to the success of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Day, which each year generates support for ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ students.

Hassard spent 36 years in ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ's Department of Athletics and retired in 2022.

Rozan was recently recognized as a 2023 BlooLoop Power 10 Museum Influencer for his achievements.  

"The Fruit Cure" is a memoir and a critical look at fad diets and scam cures, and has been reviewed in the Washington Post and the Wall Street Journal. Alnes will read from the book in a March 13 appearance at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ.
