The 24th annual Phillips-Perry Black Excellence Awards celebration recognized students for academic achievement and involvement in the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Experiences.

 

The Interactive Media graduate returned to campus to summarize her career path from ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ to Amazon, where she starts a new position next week.

The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law Alumni Association recognized Kristin Thompson Seum '10 L'13, Jim Grant L’12, Adrianne Edmonds Poe L'11 and Angelique Ryan L'16 for contributions to their professions, their communities, and their alma mater during ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law Alumni Reunion Weekend.

Julie Crothers, who earend a bachelor's of fine arts in dance in 2014, returned to campus to teach two master classes and interact with the dance majors.

Associate Professor Rich Landesberg and nine School of Communications students traveled this week to New York City, touring the facilities of several major network news organizations and meeting with high-level broadcast news professionals, including Brian Williams and Michael Radutzky, members of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s Communications Advisory Board.

The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Latinx Hispanic Alumni Network (ELHAN) will officially launch September 2017.

The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ alumna was elevated to vice president of multiplatform content and partnerships at Authentic Entertainment, overseeing the Emmy Award-winning production company’s creative development efforts for original video content.

The Society of Professional Journalists Region 2 gathering featured the Mark of Excellence Awards results, of which several ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ students were winners.

CNN's newest documentary, "Unseen Enemy," was edited by Erin Barnett, a 2009 ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ graduate whose previous documentary work includes "Steve Jobs: The Man in the Machine." 

Ryan Andrew Newson '07 and John Penniman '05 have each recently published a first book.
