The eighth annual gratitude event, held April 17, celebrated the impact of philanthropy on ���ϲ�����’s campus.

The board was joined by President Connie Ledoux Book as they made the scholarship official at their annual spring meeting.

���ϲ����� students, faculty and staff will have the chance to show their appreciation to the university’s donors by writing thank-you cards during A Thousand Thanks, a campus-wide gratitude event taking place Tuesday, April 17.

The largest equipment gift in program history will take ���ϲ�����’s nationally recognized program to the next level. 

Lashley served as associate women's basketball head coach from 1994 through 2005, when she died after a battle with cancer.

On March 13, donors made 5,370 gifts raising $1,840,378 to achieve the most successful ���ϲ����� Day celebration to date.

The Thomas M. Smiddy ’88 and Sherri Smiddy Endowed Scholarship will support students who are active through Fraternity & Sorority Life, the Love School of Business or work-study.

A special College Coffee inside Alumni Gym on Tuesday morning energized the ���ϲ����� community for its fifth #���ϲ�����Day effort.  

Belk and his wife, Carole Grotnes Belk, contributed to the growth of ���ϲ�����’s campus and athletics facilities across four decades.

All students are invited to the annual ���ϲ����� Day party in the Moseley Center beginning at 9 p.m.
