Generous support from the William E. Simon Foundation advances the future of STEM and cross-disciplinary studies as part of the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ LEADS Campaign.

The generous gift from the McMichael Family Foundation, including ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Trustee Mac McMichael P’99, Life Trustee Gail McMichael Lane P’96 GP’23 and Flavel McMichael Godfrey, will support ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s new Innovation Quad, a priority of the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ LEADS Campaign.

Through the Students First Fund, the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ community has a new way to support students who have been affected by the economic impact of COVID-19.

Olivia Duffield ’20 gained undergraduate research opportunity and important mentorship through the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ College Fellows program and Glen Raven Undergraduate Research Grant.

The North Carolina Local News Workshop, housed at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s School of Communications, will champion new approaches to providing reliable, high-quality journalism and information for NC residents and offer a base of support for organizations and individuals working to reinvent and sustain local news.

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ alumnus and Trustee Dr. William N.P. Herbert ’68 and wife Marsha Herbert, of Charlottesville, Virginia, are among the donors making major gifts to the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ LEADS Campaign to support the university’s planned Innovation Quad.

Martin, an ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ alumnus and parent from Tinton Falls, New Jersey, will lead the second year of the campaign’s three-year public phase.

The generous gift by John Sadler ’81 P’19 ’20 and his wife, Miriam P’19 ’20, will establish an ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Engagement Scholarship and honor their sons and one of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s most beloved staff members. Their gift is part of the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ LEADS Campaign.

A $100,000 gift from Sam Hunt IV and Krista Hunt supports the first phase of a bold project that will advance the university’s engineering and STEM programs. This gift is part of the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ LEADS Campaign.

The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ community pulls together to support the Chaplain’s Fund, providing emergency relief to those in times of need.
