Six ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ staff members were recognized for their outstanding contributions to the university at a May 25 awards program during the annual staff appreciation celebration in Alumni Gymnasium.

More than two dozen ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ students and one staff member were recognized for their leadership at an awards program sponsored by Omicron Delta Kappa, a national leadership honor society.

An April 9 dinner and ceremony included a keynote address by President Connie Ledoux Book. 

As part of the 2018 Coca-Cola and Regal Films student film competition, ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ students traveled to Atlanta in late January to produce a 35-second film, which is now available to watch online. And don’t forget to vote for ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s commercial in the Fan Favorite Award contest.

Seventy high school seniors interested in studying communications and sport management visited during Fellows Weekend held March 2-3. Following a competitive selection process, 30 students will be named 2018 Communications Fellows.

Among medium-sized colleges and universities, ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ ranked No. 16 for the number of Peace Corps volunteers it produced in 2017. Last year, ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law launched a new fellows program to help returned Peace Corps volunteers become lawyers. 

Lillian Engel ’19 placed in the top three of the American Cinema Editors’ Student Editing Competition, earning an invitation to the 2018 ACE Eddie Awards held on Jan. 26 in Beverly Hills, California.

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ has released its President's List and Dean's List academic recognitions for the 2017 fall semester.
