The home designed and built by students, one of six constructed in the EcoVillage at Loy Farm’s first phase, involved more than 60 students over the course of an academic year and yielded lessons students will carry into their futures.

���ϲ����� is undertaking a range of construction projects this summer that will enhance the student experience and upgrade academic spaces.

Kelly Harer, associate director of sustainability for education and outreach, completed a facilitator training to bring the program to ���ϲ�����.

More than 50 unique, creative, and innovative student projects were showcased during the 5th annual Maker Takeover, the Maker Hub’s largest celebration.

A collaborative stargazing night as part of Earth Week at ���ϲ����� drew more than 80 attendees.

Wray presented “How to Cope with Climate Anxiety: Saving the Earth and Saving Ourselves,” to students, faculty, staff, and community members in McKinnon Hall on April 24.

Members of the master plan working groups gathered to provide feedback on draft goals and strategies for ���ϲ�����'s next campus wide Sustainability Master Plan.

The collaboration will allow ���ϲ����� to make additional progress toward its goal of being carbon neutral by 2037.

Maker Takeover is the Maker Hub’s largest annual celebration that brings students, staff and faculty together to showcase their creative projects, including made-from-scratch musical instruments, custom designed clothing and furniture, and much more.

Wray, a groundbreaking researcher and author, will speak at on April 24 at 7 pm in McKinnon Hall.
