The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ community gathered Oct. 19 to commemorate and reflect on the inauguration of Connie Ledoux Book as ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s ninth president.

The focal point during a celebration lasting through Oct. 20, Thursday's inauguration ceremony in Schar Center drew thousands to mark this significant milestone in the university’s 129-year history.

Anthony DeLucia, who graduates in December with the Class of 2018, earned ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law’s first ever “best oralist” moot court award at a competition hosted this fall by Regent University School of Law.

Representatives from all six of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ's student media organizations participated in a trivia competition Oct. 16.

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s affiliate partner, The Beijing Center, will be on campus on Monday, Oct. 22.

October marks Mental Health Awareness week and National Depression Screening Day.  

The campus community gathered Tuesday for a special College Coffee on Phi Beta Kappa Plaza and to support a fundraiser for ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ programs. For each gift made in honor of President Book's inauguration, a book will be donated to Alamance-Burlington public schools.
