Twitty will speak on “A New Recipe for a Beloved Community: How Food and Food Knowledge Can Help Repair the Broken.”

Hosted by the Department of Sport Management, the annual Sport Management Symposium – held in Turner Theatre – will bring together students and industry leaders for an in-depth look at how broadcast, streaming and technology are reshaping live sports.

Eleven ���ϲ����� seniors and alumni have been named semifinalists for The Fulbright U.S. Student Program: the largest educational exchange program in the world that offers research, study and teaching opportunities to recent graduates in more than 140 countries, with approximately 2,000 grants awarded annually in all fields of study.

The Center for Access and Success (CAS) launched Break Buddies, a pilot wellness initiative that pairs students with faculty and staff for Thanksgiving meals to foster connection and reduce isolation during academic breaks. The program aims to strengthen belonging and will expand with added resources and future programming.

Led by the Center for Race, Ethnicity, and Diversity Education, the programming brings together students, faculty and campus partners for learning, celebration and connection.

Several university services have adjusted operating hours in the days between the end of Winter Term and the start of the spring semester.

Through its community-engaged approach, the Digital Marketing course demonstrates how academic learning can create tangible benefits for both students and the local community.

Seven students, accompanied by Chaplain Father Peter Tremblay, began the new year in Columbus, Ohio, joining more than 17,000 Catholics from across the country for an unforgettable experience of faith and fellowship.

The ���ϲ����� graduate has been recognized nationally for her deeply reported multimedia feature, “The Autistic Experience at ���ϲ�����,” which centers the voices of autistic and neurodiverse students.

���ϲ����� preservice teachers attended and presented at the North Carolina Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCCTM) Annual Conference in November 2025, supported by the Dr. Jo Watts Williams School of Education Dean’s Fund.
