The fundraising drive held leading up to the inauguration of Book as ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ's ninth president in October 2018 will fund the purchase of 1,000 books for the local school system. 

A generous gift from Richard ’87 P’17 and Laurie Johnson P’17 focus on two priorities of the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ LEADS Campaign, the largest fundraising campaign in the university’s history.

The gathering in the Schar Center provided the opportunity for hundreds of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ leaders and supporters to learn more about the campaign and its priorities. 

The seven-year fundraising campaign is the largest in the university’s history, with a central focus on expanding financial support for students.

Christine Gordon P'16, P'19 and her late husband, Sheldon, established a new endowed professorship of entrepreneurship.

This gift represents a historic investment in Alamance County students with high financial need. These scholarships are among the top priorities of the upcoming ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ LEADS Campaign, the largest fundraising campaign in the university’s history.

The generous commitment from Robert and Kim Graybill P’21, of Sparks, Maryland, will broaden access to ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ and create an enduring tribute to service in law enforcement and the military.

The gift from Trustee Dr. William N.P. Herbert ’68 and his wife, Marsha, of Charlottesville, Virginia, will support key priorities of the upcoming ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ LEADS Campaign, the largest fundraising campaign in the university’s history.

Alumni, students, families, faculty, staff and friends gave 6,376 gifts and more than $2.3 million in honor of the day, propelling this year’s ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Day celebration to new heights.
