Two faculty in the Dr. Jo Watts Williams School of Education recently presented at the North Carolina Reading Associate Annual Conference in Winston Salem.

Ketcham, a professor of exercise science, and Essary, a professor of Italian studies, will provide support for incoming ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ College Dean Hilton Kelly when he joins the university administration on June 1.

The article shares findings from empirical research on insect communication that was conducted at the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute at Barro Colorado Island in Panama. The work was done by collaborators from Dartmouth College, Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle, Xuzhou Medical University, Cornell University, and ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ, and the article appears in the journal Integrative and Comparative Biology.
