Faculty and students from ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s elementary education program represented at the N.C. Council of Teachers of Mathematics state conference on Nov. 1 and 2.

All faculty and teaching staff are invited to attend this -sponsored lunch workshop offered by Associate Professor of Mathematics Karen Yokley on "Teaching Writing and Writing-to-Learn in Math and other Quantitative Fields." 

 

The Professor of Art History discussed archival revelations in the study of Belle Époque painter Madeleine Lemaire.

The success of the 11 students who competed means they will advance to the Mid-Atlantic Regionals to be held in Maryland in March. 

Sophie Adamson, associate professor of French and chair of the Department of World Languages and Cultures, presented at the annual conference of the Foreign Language Association of Teachers of French in Durham, N.C.

The annual block party is moving to Schar Center from the original outdoor location due to inclement weather in the forecast.
