Three senior administrators are taking on new leadership responsibilities as the university develops its next strategic plan.

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ trustees met on March 11 and granted tenure and approved promotions for several faculty members. 

Associate Professor of Political Science and coordinator of International and Global Studies Safia Swimelar's recent research looks at the way that nationalism helps explain varying LGBT rights policies in two Southeast European states, Croatia and Serbia.  Her article was published in the peer-reviewed journal East European Politics and Societies.  

Bleakney, Olive-Taylor, Reimer, and Ruelle shared advice about bringing partners into the library space on a panel titled “We’re in This Together: Deep Collaboration with Library Building Partners” at the Librarians’ Association at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill 2019 Conference.

Jeff Clark, professor of mathematics, attended the annual meeting of the Southeastern Section of the Mathematical Association of America where he concluded his two-year term as chair of the section.

The long-time associate professor of art died unexpectedly on March 9.
