Fath and Springer present at annual meeting of the North Carolina Association for Institutional Research

At the annual Faculty/Staff Awards Luncheon on May 15, the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ community honored 11 faculty members and six staff members who are retiring this year.

Members of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s faculty and staff, along with retiring employees, were honored May 15 for excellence and service to ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ.

The chemistry department hosted its annual picnic and award ceremony on Tuesday, May 14, and recognized outstanding achievements and academic excellence.

This semester’s edition marks the 19th in the history of the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Journal, the nation’s first and only undergraduate research journal in communications.

Allocco’s invited talk at the University of Helsinki is the last of five she has presented about her current project, "Domesticating the Dead: Invitation and Installation Rites in Tamil South India," this academic year.

This year saw 80 percent of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ employees make gifts to the institution in support of student scholarships, athletics programs and more. The increased engagement comes as ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ pursues its ambitious ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ LEADS Campaign, which seeks to raise $250 million during the next three years. 

The co-authored research examines the external pressures within the human resource industry influencing an increased demand for HR certifications. 

The assistant professor of sociology analyzed how Americans define racism and political correctness, as well as their views on how race is determined.
