At a press conference urging raised awareness of sexual violence and its impact on communities, North Carolina Governor Josh Stein and Attorney General Jeff Jackson spotlighted the Guilford County Family Justice Center, where ���ϲ����� Law staff and students provide emergency legal services.

More than 23 campus departments and organizations participated in this year’s event, promoting various student success, research and academic opportunities available to students.

���ϲ����� LA’s “Alumni Wisdom Session” is held every semester, and features a rotating group of accomplished LA-based alumni who share their advice, perspectives and experiences with current semester students.

The one-day symposium will address current events in the US and internationally, and bolster support for equal application of the law. The event is a joint effort between ���ϲ����� School of Law and the University of North Carolina Greensboro’s Lloyd International Honors College.

Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to attend the Sustainability Master Plan 2025 Launch Celebration on April 22, 2025 from 4 to 5 p.m. in McKinnon Hall (Moseley Center).

In partnership with the global film & cultures minor, the Global Neighborhood hosted Duke University Professor Mert Reisoglu for a Turner Theatre screening and discussion of the award-winning 2017 film "In the Fade."

���ϲ����� Law students met with judges on the North Carolina Court of Appeals and watched the court in session. The court heard oral arguments in two cases: one involving statutes around claims of professional malpractice, and another involving an injury sustained during a high school lacrosse game.

Students interested in learning more about the spring 2026 Los Angeles program are encouraged to attend a virtual information session on April 23 or May 5.
