A century ago today, as the ruins of ���ϲ�����’s Administration Building were still smoldering after a fire, members of the college community and area residents gathered to craft plans to rebuild, setting the stage for the “bigger and better” ���ϲ����� of today.

���ϲ����� community members can volunteer to participate in a blood drive, resource distribution and after-school program as a part of the Kernodle Center’s service opportunities in honor of MLK Day.

The "Little Village" first began in 2014 and focused on pre-Kindergarten children in Alamance County. The program was suspended during the pandemic and will pick back up at four ABSS schools.

Over 90 students are recognized for their work with the community during the fall 2022 semester.

The funding will allow the HOPE Clinic to complete approximately 140 additional patient visits in 2023.

A team of third-year engineering majors led by Vivian Krause '24 and mentored by Assistant Professor of Engineering Jonathan Su is collaborating with Burlington's Solid State Clothing and TS Designs to find the best way to preserve natural dyes.
