The university was one of three recognized by The Council on Undergraduate Research with this prestigious award for providing high-quality research experiences for undergraduates.

Colonnades, ���ϲ����� News Network and Phi Psi Cli collect 11 first-place awards, as well as three Best of Shows, at the annual North Carolina College Media Association gathering hosted on Feb. 26.

The former ���ϲ����� women’s basketball team captain and current Milwaukee Bucks reporter was honored in the “Outstanding Crafts Achievement On-Camera Talent” category for her work with Bally Sports Wisconsin. The 2015 alumna made history when she became the first woman to call play-by-play for the reigning NBA champions.

Hunter is competing for the highly competitive national fellowship awarded each year to those with goals of working in public service or government. Winners will be announced by April 15.

The ���ϲ����� junior and executive director of ���ϲ����� News Network has joined student journalists from across the country to participate in a national reporting project focused on policing and justice.

Moore and her mentor, Professor of Mathematics Todd Lee, are using statistics to explore the effects of gerrymandering in North Carolina.

The ���ϲ����� junior also earned second place in the virtual collegiate event’s sales competition.

Bringing Theory to Practice, which is headquartered at ���ϲ�����, will be working toward new models of education and systemic changes that impact how students learn and engage.
