ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law Professor Enrique Armijo was named to the Board of Academic Advisors for The Free State Foundation on September 24.

In an induction ceremony held Oct. 11, 2014, Assistant Professor Carmen Monico became a charter member of the District 7600 Rotary Alumni Association two years after having served as an Rotary Foundation Ambassadorial Research Scholar in Guatemala.

A paper co-authored by Professor Kevin O’Mara was recognized as “Best in Conference” and “Best in Track” at the Atlantic Marketing Association conference.

Seven ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ professors are part of a larger effort funded by the Teagle Foundation to study new classroom approaches to the humanities with an emphasis on engaged learning.

In collaboration with colleagues from two other institutions, Assistant Professor Sirena Hargrove-Leak has received a grant of more than $161,000 from the National Science Foundation to research and reform the way science and engineering students learn in laboratory settings.

A grant from the Coleman Foundation will support the fellows' efforts to encourage entrepreneurship at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ.

Megan Squire in the Department of Computing Sciences is the principal investigator for a three-year, $240,028 grant.
