The grant supports Ryu's travel to work with Dr. Susanna Röblitz at the University of Bergen in Norway on her research project, "A Mathematical Model of Macrophage Differentiation in the Tumor Microenvironment." 

The rising senior is one of 20 college students in the nation selected for the Vance and Betty Lee Stickell Student Internship Program presented annually by the American Advertising Federation.

���ϲ����� Law Dean Emeritus and Professor of Law George R. Johnson Jr. is one of five recipients of an annual honor bestowed by the North Carolina Bar Association's Minorities in the Profession Committee.

An assistant professor of mathematics, Ryu will serve in the role for two years.
