The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ women’s basketball team hosted elementary students from Alamance Burlington School System during Education Day as they took on the University of Richmond and set a new attendance record.

Members of the men's and women's golf teams, the women's lacrosse team and the women's track and field and cross-country teams are traveling abroad this Thanksgiving break as a part of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ's commitment to ensuring a global experience for its student-athletes.

The Phoenix, ranked No. 14 nationally, will return to the FCS playoffs for the first time since 2018.

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ alumnus and parent Grayson Whitt ’79 P’08 P’09 and his wife Connie Whitt P’08 P’09 continue their loyal support of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ athletics by making a generous gift through their estate. Their gift is part of the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ LEADS Campaign.

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ has an overall single-year graduation success rate of 97 percent and nine programs earned a perfect 100 percent score.

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ, which won the Colonial Athletic Association regular season championship, will host Marshall University at Rudd Field on Thursday, Nov. 17, at 6 p.m.

In a rematch of last year's championship final, the Phoenix and the Pride are meeting on the soccer pitch for the 10th time on Saturday.

The No. 1 seeded Phoenix will host a semifinal matchup against either No. 4 seed Drexel or No. 5 seed Northeastern on Sunday, Nov. 6, in the CAA Championship tournament. That match is scheduled for a 1 p.m. start time.

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ also had five members of its squad earn All-CAA honors with three runners finishing in the top-five and four in the top-10.

The annual fundraising event held in Schar Center on Oct. 7 generated more than $400,000 for student-athlete scholarships.
