The Hon. John M. Morris L’10, who was sworn into office in January after prevailing in his fall campaign, is the first ���ϲ����� Law graduate to preside in the North Carolina system that oversees felony criminal trials and civil cases involving more than $25,000.

As a lead designer on the NBC Sports on-air graphic design team, the ���ϲ����� alumnus has been instrumental in this season’s presentations of “Sunday Night Football” and “Thursday Night Football.”

Vreeland is the supervising producer for New York Times Cooking and is making a name for himself being featured multiple times on "Good Morning America," writing recipes and filming content in his supervisory role with The New York Times, and even making the 2023 Forbes 30 Under 30 list for media.

Professor of Psychology Amy Overman accompanied undergraduate researchers in her neuroscience lab to the Psychonomic Society Conference in Boston, connecting them with recent ���ϲ����� graduates and leading scientists in the field.

The pair are the first legacy father-son students of ���ϲ�����'s Doctor of Physical Therapy program.

Smith currently serves as the operations and volunteer director for Home Works of America, a non-profit based out of South Carolina that focuses on repairing the homes of low-income residents through the assistance of volunteers and donations. 

The ���ϲ����� LEADS Campaign made stops in five cities this fall, bringing together alumni, parents and friends across the nation to hear about the profound impact donors to the campaign have made on ���ϲ����� students and the future of the university.

Both the associate professor of international business and alumna finished the GRI Academy coursework, which covers global best practices for sustainability reporting.

President Connie Book and ���ϲ����� LEADS Campaign co-chairs Christian Wiggins ’03, Priscilla Awkard ’95, Maity Interiano ’07 and Jack McMackin ’08 share the historic impact of the largest campaign in the university’s history.
