Spacious plaza taking shape at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s Academic Village

Construction workers were smoothing cement July 15 as they work to complete the new plaza that will grace the entrance to ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ's Academic Village. The plaza is scheduled for completion Aug. 10, and will be the new home for the university's weekly College Coffee gatherings.

The Chronicle of Higher Education has recognized ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ in its 2009 “Great Colleges to Work For” program, which honors institutions for best practices and policies, such as faculty-administration relations, confidence in senior leadership, and compensation and benefits.

Students take part in inaugural “ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ in New York” program

Twenty ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ students are living and working in the Big Apple this month as part of the inaugural Summer in the City: ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ in New York program sponsored by the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business. Students are interning at major firms and nonprofits in the fields of finance, marketing, communications and entrepreneurship while residing in the Upper East Side of Manhattan and completing a professional development course.
