Leaders of the ���ϲ����� Black Alumni Network (EBAN) leadership team gathered on campus July 30 to plan initiatives for the upcoming academic year, including enhanced Homecoming events and a new mentoring program to better connect alumni with current students.

���ϲ����� Phoenix athletics has launched a new campaign to encourage all community members to Live the Maroon Life.

���ϲ�����’s chapter of Beta Alpha Psi, the honorary organization for financial information students and professionals, was awarded “Gold chapter” status during the national organization’s annual conference this month in Denver. ���ϲ����� was one of seven chapters to achieve the honor, which is the highest award level a chapter can receive.

���ϲ����� chaplain emeritus Richard McBride, ���ϲ����� trustee Dr. William N.P Herbert ’68 and retired vice president Nan Perkins received ���ϲ����� Medallions on Aug. 22, 2011, in an annual ceremony that celebrates the highest honor the university bestows on individuals for their meritorious service to the institution.

Town & Country, the oldest continually published general interest magazine in the United States, picked ���ϲ����� in an 11-page feature story on top colleges in the September 2011 issue. The top colleges were recommended to the magazine by counselors at dozens of private high schools across the country.
