ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ was a partner in the conference, which focused on learning about and lifting the souls of black and brown women and girls. The event was held at Shaw University in partnership with the Raleigh/Apex chapter of the NAACP. 

Encouraged to “be brave for who you will become,” African-American students in ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law’s Class of 2018 were celebrated by family, friends, faculty and staff in a kente-donning program preceding Commencement.

Two major fall 2019 event dates have been confirmed. Family Weekend will kick off on Friday, Sept. 27, with events taking place throughout the weekend, and Homecoming and Reunion Weekend is Nov. 1-3.

The David Gergen Award for Leadership & Professionalism, bestowed each year at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ School of Law’s Commencement, recognizes one student in the graduating class who embodies the highest levels of selfless leadership and service.

“Cases in Public Relations: Translating ethics into action” is an edited collection recently released by Oxford University Press.

The assistant director of news content and his WPEC-TV team were recognized on Dec. 1 at the 42nd annual Suncoast Regional Emmy Awards ceremony in Orlando, Florida.
