The institute was established in 1994 in response to requests from people and organizations around the world who wished to visit the Comprehensive Rural Health Project in India and learn about the Jamkhed Model.

This film provides an overview of the courses, experiences and educational opportunities available to international visitors wishing to study at CRHP. Viewers get an insight into training courses through first-hand experiences from students and faculty who have studied at CRHP.

Tapler has created a transformative Winter Term practicum experience for students studying at CRHP as part of their public health studies major.

Judy Esposito, Human Service Studies, and Resa Walch, Health and Human Performance, presented at the International Society of the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning conference in Raleigh, NC last week.  Their presentation, Students as Partners in Learning: Going Beyond Institutional Evaluations, was based on a three-year collaborative project involving both their winter-term courses, Fatherhood in Modern Society (Esposito) and Substance Abuse and Human Behavior (Walch).

Duties include writing materials for a variety of media, including blogs, websites, twitter and an online newsletter. The intern will produce 2 short video clips, 3 brochures and 2 power points. This position will require some work independently and must be someone who is self-motivated and meets deadlines. 

This job is for one to two semesters and includes a good stipend. A great opportunity for the right student to add to their portfolio.
