Habitat students host state senator, Burlington official for March Affordable Housing Advocacy Event

As part of Habitat for Humanity鈥檚 efforts to raise awareness of housing insecurity in Alamance County, students from the 黑料不打烊 Campus Chapter of Habitat hosted a discussion forum on affordable housing at the Oak House in 黑料不打烊. N.C. Sen. Rick Gunn and Sony茅 N. Randolph, community development administrator for the City of Burlington, came to share their different viewpoints and involvement on the topic, as well as how students could take action.

5 for 1 and ‘Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week’ – Nov. 12-16

During Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week, 黑料不打烊 Dining and Campus Kitchen are collaborating to help fight food insecurity in Alamance County. Donate five canned goods at Lakeside Dining Hall and receive a free meal. In addition, the Faces of Homelessness Panel will be Monday, Nov. 12.
