But as students do we take this right to our advantage? Other private universities’ administration demand prior approval of their school newspaper, cut funding on the basis of content, or even discipline editors for publishing “inappropriate” stories. Be controversial and press the press to the limits; let’s see how far we can go!

The girls played Appalachian in the semifinals and then won against NC State in the finals and are ranked #1 in the state. A $500 award was given to the team to help them on their journey to nationals in Kansas City, Missouri, on the weekend of April 16. Great job, girls! Wish the team good luck for nationals!
