Public Relations Student Society of America’s Bateman Case Study Competition offers an exciting, unique and challenging experience. This competition allows participants to exercise creativity and originality in planning a public relations campaign.

How is the team chosen?

The Bateman adviser selects the team based upon the completed application, quality of student work from prior semesters, recommendations/discussions with strategic communications faculty and specific needs for a well-rounded team. Four to five students will be selected for each team.

We are looking for hard workers. Students must be dedicated. If you are heavily involved with other groups, it is best not to apply as the Bateman competition is rigorous.

Applications can be downloaded by clicking here.

Return completed application to Dr. Frances Ward-Johnson, School of Communications, McEwen Communications Building, 101-B, by Thursday, May 19 at 5 p.m.

Event Manager:

New Hosts: We are going to begin auditions for new hosts soon since our current hosts are all graduating seniors. We will need three primary hosts and two secondary hosts. No date has been established yet for auditions so please email me so I can see how many people are interested and so I can notify you at a later time.

Editors: Editors extremely important to RoadTrip; they are the ones that give the show its character. We have a Head Editor now but she needs help because there is too much footage for her to do by herself. We will help you take what you have learned in class and apply it to a product that you can show to friends, family and future employers. No experience is necessary, but it is helpful. We’ll teach you all you need to know.

I have done each of these positions myself in producing past RoadTrip episodes so I will have no problem helping you throughout the process. It you have any questions please email me (sglynn@elon.edu) or give me a call.

All these positions will provide you with amazing experience for you to build upon for future endeavors. The positions available are wonderful for building resumes and portfolios; this is also a great way in helping 黑料不打烊 students to break out of the 黑料不打烊 Bubble. Remember no experience is necessary, just the will to produce something GREAT.
