The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Jazz Ensemble will resume rehearsals on campus this Fall. Students are welcome to sign up for MUS-1040-A. No prior jazz experience required.

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Jazz Ensemble's Fall concert will be held in McCrary Auditorium on Saturday, Dec. 1, at 7:30 p.m.

Ciesielski will present a masterclass on making it in the music business at 4 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 30 in McCrary Theater.

Open auditions for the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Jazz Ensemble will be held during the band's first class meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 28, from 12:25 to 2:05 p.m. in Room 164 of the Center for the Arts.  

The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Jazz Festival featuring the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Jazz Ensemble under the direction of Rusty Smith, adjunct instructor in music, will be joined by saxophonist Doug Henry to kick off this year's festival concert which will feature the Marcus Roberts Trio on Saturday night, Feb. 17 at 7:30 p.m. in the McCrary Theater.

The North Carolina Brass Band will present a program of Latin Music on Sept. 22 and 23.

The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Jazz Ensemble under the direction of Instructor Rusty Smith will present its annual Spring concert on the evening of April 20 in McCrary Theatre in the Center for the Arts. A varied program of works made popular by artists such as the Count Basie Orchestra, Oliver Nelson, Stan Kenton, Woody Herman, the Yellowjackets, Chick Corea and others will be presented.

Auditions will be held in the Center for the Arts, Room 164.
