Please come out to Smitty’s Ice Cream on Nov. 7 from 5-9 p.m. to get some great ice cream and support Alpha Phi Omega’s sectional conference. The brother’s of Alpha Phi Omega will be serving up wonderful Smitty’s ice cream to help support and finance their upcoming sectionals conference to be held in February 2008.

Human Services Car Wash this Saturday, April 28

The Human Services Society will be holding a car wash this Saturday, April 28, from 10am-2pm at Capital Bank on Huffman Mill Road (next to Starbucks). Come and have your car washed and leave a donation for the book drive that is being held on campus. Books will be purchased to give to local children for summer reading.

Human Services Book Drive

Books are needed for a community book drive that is taking place at ��ϲ�� until May 1st. These books will provide students at a local elementary school, grades k-5 with reading materials for the summer. If you have any new or used books please bring them to Alamance 213 or the Holland House room 201 (Pam Kiser’s office) before May 1st. Spring break is a perfect time to get books from home and donate them to deserving kids in the local community. Thanks for your help!
