ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law professor Howard Katz was featured in the most recent publication of Transactions: The Tennessee Journal of Business Law. For the 2011 special report, Katz published, "Negotiation as a Fundamental Skill."

On June 28, ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law Professor Eric Fink participated in a newscast exploring the pros and cons of rewriting the U.S. Constitution. The subject has been explored recently by CNN, the ABA Journal, and Time magazine.

Christa Davis, a third year student at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law, was one of 20 students to receive a grant through the U.S. State Department for the Emerging Leaders' Extraction and Environment Program (E-LEEP).

Brendan Garcia, a member of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law's Class of 2011, has been accepted into the Presidential Management Fellowship (PMF) program. The number of applicants to the program each year has been as high as 8,500 in recent years. In 2011, 275 PMF finalists have been hired by federal agencies. Garcia will be working with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in the Veterans Benefits Administration.

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law's Founding Dean and Professor of Law Emeritus, Leary Davis, published, "Building Legal Talent: Mentors, Coaches, Preceptors and Gurus in the Legal Profession," in the 2011, Volume 20, Number 4 edition of the Professional Lawyer, a publication of the American Bar Association Center for Professional Responsibility.

Faculty, students, alumni and friends of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law gathered June 21 for an informal reception to celebrate the law school’s achievement of ABA full approval. Speakers included ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ President Leo M. Lambert, Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Steven House, and law school Dean George R. Johnson, Jr.
