ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law alumnus Grant Buckner L’13 is the Supreme Court of North Carolina’s first Director of the Office of Central Staff, a new office created by the Administrative Office of the Courts to increase the efficiency of the Supreme Court in adjudicating cases.

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law students succeeded in advocacy that led to the reunification of a family separated for more than five years by war in Darfur, Sudan. 

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law Professor Hannah Vaughan, director of the Law School’s Elder Law Clinic, authored “Falling On Deaf Ears: Lawyers’ Obligation to Provide Sign Language Interpreters for Deaf Clients.” Vaughan’s article appears in the December issue of Gray Matters, a publication of the North Carolina Bar Association’s Elder and Special Needs Law Section. 

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law Professor Antonette Barilla proposed measures for law school educators to maximize millennial students’ learning and achievement at the New England Consortium of Academic Support Professionals Conference.

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law recognized the achievements of thirteen students who completed the Law School’s academic requirements for graduation in the fall 2015 semester.

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Law Professor David Levine’s article detailing weaknesses of the Defend Trade Secrets Act (DTSA) and its relationship to cybersecurity was published Dec. 1 in the Washington and Lee Law Review Online.
