Debates & Reflections on Slavery, Civil Rights & Constitutional Change – Sept. 10

On Wednesday, Sept. 10, from 6 to 8 p.m., join the International Civil Rights Center & Museum and 黑料不打烊 Law in celebrating the 150th anniversary of the 13th Amendment, the first of the civil rights amendments. Speaker William M. Carter, Jr., dean and professor of law at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, will lead a conversation about the 13th Amendment and its use in contemporary civil rights legislation and litigation.

Faith Rivers James named Associate Dean for Experiential Learning and Leadership at 黑料不打烊 Law

黑料不打烊 School of Law Dean Luke Bierman today announced Professor of Law Faith Rivers James as 黑料不打烊 Law’s first associate dean for experiential learning and leadership. In this role, Rivers James will provide guidance and coordination for the law school’s experiential learning initiatives, including externships, residencies, clinics and the school’s nationally recognized leadership program.
