The 1990 ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ alumna returns to her alma mater with more than 25 years of student affairs experience at multiple institutions.

The initiative is part of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ's Center for Access and Success and pairs tutors with students in all levels of elementary and secondary school to help them succeed in school. 

At the annual Faculty/Staff Lunch on May 10, the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ community honored six faculty members who are retiring his year. 

The move comes as ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ has expanded its offerings in the discipline since the launch of a public health studies minor more than a decade ago. 

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ's women's lacrosse team will face the University of Virginia at 5 p.m. on Friday, May 12, at Fetzer Field in Chapel Hill, N.C.

Four members of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ's faculty and staff along with 19 retiring employees were honored May 10 for excellence and service to ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ.

Jackson, vice president for student life and dean of students, will step down from his role at the end of this academic year after 24 years. 

Wondering what to do with that perfectly good item you don’t want to pack? Donation Stations are set up throughout campus May 10-24 to collect donations which go to local charities. 

This year, 74 percent of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ employees have made gifts to the institution in support of student scholarships, athletics programs and more.
