���ϲ�����’s Interprofessional Simulation Center will celebrate Simulation in Healthcare Week from Sept. 15–19

The Mid-Level Professionals Institute (MLPI) 2025-26 cohort launched their year with a two-day summer retreat in June focused on the theme “Learning Toward: Leadership & Followship.”

���ϲ�����’s School of Health Sciences Interprofessional Simulation Center received full accreditation from the Society for Simulation in Healthcare on May 17, 2024. The IPSC team was accredited in the area of Teaching/Education.

The School of Health Sciences hosted its first school-wide FRANsgiving in the Francies Center on November 15th.

The Interprofessional Simulation Center in the School of Health Sciences is joining the global celebration of Simulation in Healthcare Week from Sept. 18 to 22.

Greensboro AHEC partnered with ���ϲ����� Department of Nursing and the School of Health Science's Interprofessional Simulation Center to create experiential learning activities that were designed to increase knowledge and skills when caring for patients with cardiovascular conditions.

The inaugural Healthcare Simulation Week, sponsored by the Society for Simulation in Healthcare and held Sept. 11-14, celebrates global professionals who use simulation to improve the safety, effectiveness, and efficiency of healthcare delivery.

 

DPT students (Year III/final year) will be evaluating people who have musculoskeletal problems every Tuesday and Thursday, from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. in the Gerald Francis Center.
