Ajantha is an environmentalist and the founder of the National Program of Recycling and Solid Waste in Sri Lanka. More events to follow in the next week. The Class of 2011 Periclean Scholars and Ajantha appreciate your support on environmental issues globally and in Sri Lanka.

The local project is one of many events that scholars are organizing to show their commitment to the environment as they gear up for another event they are organizing in Sri Lanka. The event is called the LEAF, or Leaders in Environmental Advocacy Forum, held at the University of Colombo in Colombo, Sri Lanka during winter term.

We are providing local and organic food and because it tastes so good, s’mores and hot cider. You are welcome to bring something! We’ll be carving pumpkins, playing games and eating good food. 

This is open to the entire school so invite your friends, tell your classes and let’s enjoy the beautiful fall weather and festivities.

This a human rights issue between the government and Native Americans. This is an inspiring film. There will be time at the end for discussion, questions or comments.

7-9 p.m. in the Oaks 207 (the building in between the first and second, where campus police is)

These documentaries will become a regular SfPJ monthly event. This is our first one!

Are you ready to breakaway again the Friday after Fall
Break? 黑料不打烊 just finished the ALL NEW High Ropes course as apart of The 黑料不打烊
Challenge. Be some of the first students to climb the new course. Outdoors is
going to the course at the Lodge on Friday, Oct. 24, from
3-7 p.m.

Wear comfortable shorts that you can be harnessed in… nothing too
loose or baggy. Make sure you wear close-toed shoes and no hanging jewelry.
Bring lots of water and a snack.

We will be leaving from Arts West at 2:45 p.m. so we can walk down
to the Lodge.

The interest meetings are Wednesday, Oct. 22
at 5:30 p.m. and Thursday, Oct. 23, at 6 p.m. in Koury Commons in
between the Pool and the Fitness Center.

I hope to see everyone on the ropes! Come challenge

Whiteboards will be available so that you can write your thoughts on 黑料不打烊’s policies on products (t-shirts and sports clothing) from sweatshops. Take pictures with your whiteboards and we’ll send them to 黑料不打烊 officials. We will also be de-“swooshing” your Nike clothes. Bring your Nike stuff to College Coffee on Tuesday, April 8th!
