Fraternity Formal Recruitment Kicks Off Feb. 10. Register now

All male freshmen with a G.P.A. of 2.5 or higher are urged to come out for Formal Spring Fraternity Recruitment which kicks off Sunday, Feb. 10.

Check out the link on the Greek Life Web site and make sure you go ahead and register. Students who fail to register before Feb. 10 will not be able to accept bids this spring.

Even if you don’t think you want to join a fraternity, or haven’t given it much thought, you should definitely come out with an open mind and meet the men of our stellar fraternity community. If you have any questions please contact Matt Lewis, IFC VP of Recruitment (mlewis3@elon.edu).

Freshmen interested in joining a fraternity are invited to Monday Night Football on Nov. 19

All freshmen men are encouraged to meet the members of our fraternity community this Monday night, Nov. 19. The event will be held in Moseley 215 and will begin @ 8:30 p.m. There will be free food and the Monday Night Football game will be played on the big screen. All of ��ϲ��’s fraternities will be represented and this is a great opportunity to interact with the members of our fraternities.

Any upperclassmen interested in participating in Formal Recruitment next week needs to register on the Greek Life Website. All upperclassmen are urged to participate in the Recruitment process and I greatly urge you to visit all of the fraternity houses so you can get to know as many men as possible. Registration for Spring Fraternity Recruitment Opens Monday, October 1

I just wanted to notify all freshmen men that registration for Spring Fraternity Recruitment officially opens online this Monday, October 1.

The registration fee is $15 and can be paid on-line. It is important to register as early as you can so you can be contacted throughout the course of this semester and winter term about upcoming events and important information regarding recruitment. The requirements for Spring recruitment is that you must have at least a 2.5 G.P.A and 12 accumulated university credits. If you have any questions regarding the recruitment process please contact Matt Lewis, IFC VP of Recruitment (mlewis3@elon.edu). I urge all of you to go through the recruitment process as our fraternities represent the some of the best organizations and men on ��ϲ��’s campus.

If you are interested in Greek Life, meet the Greeks this Saturday Sept. 1

The Greek community invites all freshmen to come out to our “Meet the Greeks” event this Saturday, Sept. 1, from 2-4 p.m. The event will take place in the grassy area between the Moseley Center and the Greek Courts. Come out for free lunch, live music, tours of the Greek houses, fun activities and an opportunity to meet the members of ��ϲ��’s amazing Greek community.

Look for the Inter-fraternity Council table at the Organizational Fair on Friday for more information. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact Matt Lewis (mlewis3@elon.edu), VP of Recruitment of IFC.

Come watch the national championship game with Sigma Phi Epsilon tonight, Jan. 8

The brothers of Sigma Phi Epsilon wishes to invite all men interested in joining Sig Ep to come out for the Ohio St./Florida game tonight at the Sig Ep house in the Loy Center.

Food will be provided and the game will be watched on a 50 in. television. People should plan on arriving around 8 p.m.

This will be a great time to meet some of the brothers but more importantly to watch the most anticipated game of the year in college football.

The brothers of Sigma Phi Epsilon would like to offer all guys that are interested to the chapter’s house tonight to watch the Ohio St./Florida Game.

The game will be shown on a 50 in. flat screen and food will be provided.

Plan on arriving to the Sig Ep house in the Loy Center about 20 min. before kickoff.

Interfraternity Council hosting concert Saturday, Jan. 6

The Interfraternity Council will be hosting a pre-game concert tomorrow at noon before the men and women’s basketball games for all men interested in joining a fraternity this February. The band Three Day Weekend will be performing right outside of Alumni Gym.

All unaffiliated men should definitely come out as this will provide a tremendous opportunity not only to meet some of the brothers of ��ϲ��’s fraternities, but to check out a sick band and get pumped up for the game.

Also, if you have not yet registered for Spring Recruitment, you need to do so as soon as you can. This can be done at the website listed below.

Thanks To All That Helped Alex’s Lemonade Stand

Thank you to all of the students that donated money to Alex’s Lemonade Stand two weeks ago. Because of your contributions, we were able to raise over $1,300 for Pediatric Cancer Research and also over 100 Smile Cards were constructed for the siblings of Cancer Patients.

Thank you again so much for your help in this cause that affects us all.
