Students, faculty, staff and alumni are invited to kick-off Saturday’s Homecoming festivities with a brisk early morning walk or run alongside family and friends and the 黑料不打烊 Community. 

The Homecoming Brick Run/Walk will take place beginning at 8 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 3. The starting line will be located at Martin Alumni Center, with the course to wind around through campus before ended back at the center.

Anyone who wishes to participate can register for $15 at the Koury Business Operations Office during open hours, or on the day of the race. 

All participants with early bird registration will be guaranteed a giveaway item on the day of the race.

In keeping busy schedules and hopping from one commitment to the next, tension has a tendency to build up.

Campus Recreation & Wellness provides the opportunity for students to take a break and get on their feet for some healthy competition and camaraderie with friends with intramural sports.

The sports offered in Block 2 of Intramural registration include:

• Ultimate Frisbee
• 7v7 Flag Football
• 6v6 Volleyball
• Raquetball

Students and groups can register online at . For step-by-step instructions on how to create an IMLeagues account or how to sign up for intramural sports, . Once a team has registered on IMLeagues, each team captain is required to attend the Captains Meeting at 6 p.m. Oct. 18 in Moseley 215, where they can pay the $20 forfeit fee.

This year, IM Champion teams will not only receive 2018-19 Intramural Champion T-shirts to commemorate their victory, but they will also attend a special celebration of fall intramural champions hosted by President Connie Book.
