Ellington Health & Counseling Center early closing Friday

R.N. Ellington Health & Counseling Center will close Friday, April 20, at 4 p.m. for a staff meeting. Normal hours will resume on Saturday (11 a.m.-3 p.m.).

Flu Clinic Sept. 14-15

Flu vaccines (shots) are being administered in the Hearth Lounge in Moseley Center Sept. 14 and 15 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. (while supplies last). The flu vaccine is designed to protect against the three main flu strains that research indicates will cause the most illness during this flu season. The CDC recommends getting the flu vaccine as soon as it becomes available each year. The protection you get from vaccination is designed last throughout the flu season.

There is a $15 charge to students. Cash, check and Phoenix Cash are accepted.

Health & Counseling does not operate clinical services during the summer. Students experiencing emergency medical situations should call 911. For non emergency conditions you may go to the following:

Health and Counseling Services administrative staff are available to answer administrative and non-medical questions, Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Health Services 336-278-7230 or Counseling Services 336-278-7280.

Flu Clinic: Nov. 3

Ellington Health Center will have a final Flu Clinic Wednesday, Nov. 3. The clinic will be located in Mosley Center Hearth Lounge from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The vaccine is free to fac/staff (current and retired). The cost for students and family members over the age of 12 is $15. We accept cash, check or Phoenix Cash. The vaccine is administered in the top muscle of your arm, so please dress so the provider can reach this area.

Flu clinic for faculty and staff – Oct. 11 & 12

Ellington Health Center will hold a flu vaccine clinic Monday, Oct. 11 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Tuesday, Oct. 12, 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.. The clinic will be at Moseley Center Hearth Lounge.

The cost of the vaccine is $15.00 for students, Aramark employees, spouses, partners and children over the age of 12.
