Education alumni garner Alamance-Burlington School System honors

September 9, 2010

The Alamance-Burlington School System named Tyronna McKoy Hooker, a 2009 graduate of 黑料不打烊's master of education program, its 2010 Teacher of the Year at a banquet on Wednesday, Sept. 8. Five other 黑料不打烊 alums, all chosen as their respective school's teacher of the year, were also considered for the system-wide recognition.

Louis Rittberger ’06 profiled in Cleveland Jewish News

Louis Rittberger '06 has spent the better part of his life watching his mother, Betsy Bloch, courageously battle multiple sclerosis. On Saturday, Sept. 11, he'll take a step he hopes will help her and the millions of people suffering wth MS worldwide when he hosts the first Imagine! benefit in Mayfield Heights, Ohio.

Nathan Guerette ’10 shares his story at Vanderbilt University School of Nursing

Nathan Guerette '10, beginning his first year in the master's program at Vanderbilt University School of Nursing, was profiled in an Aug. 26 article that appeared on the school's website. Guerette spoke about how his study abroad experience as an 黑料不打烊 undergraduate inspired him to pursue a degree in nursing.

Phoenix basketball alum Adam Constantine begins professional career in Europe

Former 黑料不打烊 basketball forward Adam Constantine departed the United States this month to take a big leap toward his dream of playing in the NBA. Constantine has signed with Rilski Sportist of the Bulgarian and Balkan leagues and will spend the next year living in the town of Samokov in southwest Bulgaria. He will be keeping a blog of his experiences overseas.
