Join us as we launch a new program within ��ϲ��Volunteers!, called the Awareness Team. We are looking for leaders to coordinate activities that will raise awareness of social issues to the greater ��ϲ�� campus. Time’s running out to sign up for EnviroTour service trip

Fall Break plans fall through? Still can’t decide what to do? Then hurry up to the Service Learning office (Moseley 230, x7250) NOW to get the last spot on the Fall Break Service Trip!!!

You & 9 other ��ϲ�� folks will be heading to the beautiful Appalachain Mountains in western NC to serve & learn at 2 eco-villages–communitites focused on sustainable living. Renewable energies, sustainable agriculture, and alternative construction are a few things that we will be learning about and taking part in as volunteers. This is a great opportunity to develop friendships, learn about efficient lifestyles, reflect upon your own lifestyle and possibly find ways to implement new knowledge into your daily life. If you’re interested in joining this 4 day fall break adventure contact Katie or Rachel (or pick up a brochure) in the Kernodle Center for Service Learning.

Join nine others from ��ϲ�� to experience a fun and reflective service trip to the Appalachian Mountains of NC. We will visit two different eco-villages, communities focusd on sustainable living. Mountain Mission Farms and Earthaven are both working to live more harmoniously with the Earth. Various positions need to be filled, including Service Event Coordinators, Advocacy Program Coordinators, Youth Program Coordinators, Service Events Co-Director, & Advocacy Director.

Shack-A-Thon is a great opportunity to make a donation to Habitat for Humanity, create publicity for your organization, & have an interesting experience with your group of friends! A Home Of Their Own–THIS WEEK

A Home Of Their Own is an amazing weeklong event (this week–April 7th-11th) that raises awareness about homelessness & substandard housing. Stop by our table in Moseley Center all this week to get some interesting information.

Big aspect: Shack-A-Thon (Thursday April 10th), where different groups/organizations/etc compete to raise money for Habitat and build a shack to sleep in that night. Check out Habitat’s shack (set up outside Moseley) to get an idea of what you’re in for. =)
