Orders are now being taken for From a Grove of Oaks: The Story of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ, a richly illustrated book by Professor Emeritus of History George W. Troxler.

Three outstanding members of the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ community were honored with the LGBTQIA Community Enrichment Awards during an event Nov. 10 in McKinnon Hall.

As the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ community gathered to celebrate 125 years of rich history during Homecoming 2013, the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Black Alumni Network celebrated the accomplishments of black alumni, students and faculty at its annual Black Alumni Scholarship Gala Nov. 9.

The Nov. 8 event, part of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s yearlong quasquicentennial celebration, kicked off this year’s Homecoming Weekend festivities with the recognition of seven distinguished alumni.

Seven outstanding alumni were recognized for their professional success, community engagement and loyal support of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ at a Nov. 8 ceremony that is part of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ's Homecoming celebrations.

To mark ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ's 125th anniversary, 125 alumni from around the nation formed a "Log Maroon Line" as part of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s 2013 Fall Convocation on Oct. 3, which was headlined by Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak.

There are many things that make ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ a special place: its sense of community, its people, its traditions.

Apple Inc. co-founder Steve Wozniak encouraged members of the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ community to “build in an element of fun” into everything they do as part of his speech during ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ's Fall Convocation.
