At this ceremony we will recognize the efforts of organizations, programs, advisors, and student leaders who are dedicated to advancing the community at 黑料不打烊. Dinner will be provided, as well as entertainment. Your new SGA Executive Officers will also be taking their oaths and begin their terms in office.

If you would like to nominate your organization, please ask your president or advisor to pick up an OAIC nomination packet outside of the SGA office (Moseley 221A), Student Development Office (Moseley 206).

The 10 copies of each letter of nomination are due to the SGA office, Moseley 221A, no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 17.

Even if you could not be a part of RSA in the fall we would love to have you come anytime!

Due to winter term class schedules (8:30-11:30 and 1:30-4:30) we will have RSA meetings at 5pm on Tuesdays, still in Moseley 216! Our first meeting back will be the first day of class, Tuesday Jan. 4th at 5pm in 216!

We will resume our regular meeting time once Spring Semester begins!

If you still cannot make it to our meetings be sure to check out your Area Councils!

48 Hours Never Phelt So Good; Phoenix Phind results /u/news/2004/11/10/48-hours-never-phelt-so-good-phoenix-phind-results/ Wed, 10 Nov 2004 16:25:00 +0000 /u/news/2004/11/10/48-hours-never-phelt-so-good-phoenix-phind-results/ The first ever Phoenix Phind was held this past weekend, from 4 p.m. Friday until 4 p.m. Sunday. The 48-hour scavenger hunt was a huge success and included 48 teams comprised of 5-10 members each.

Teams received a list of 126 items they either had to bring in or get a photograph of. Each item was assigned a point value and the judges gave bonus points for creativity. The list included items such as: a photograph of Dr. Jackson; a furbee; picture of the group in a Hummer; group member riding a donkey; canned goods (which were turned into the canned food drive); MLB playoff ticket stub; and a picture of a Wal-Mart employee shaking hands with a K-Mart employee.

The prizes were $250 for third, $450 for second, and a grand prize of $650 to the winning team! The winners were announced Sunday night at a pizza party in the DC Commons for everyone who participated in all the phun! The first 100 to sign up also received free Phind shirts! The event was sponsored by Resident Student Association and the Danieley Center Area Council.

Then you’re already a member of Resident Student Association! We want to invite you to be a part of all the fun this year can provide.

We strive to make this campus and community the best it can be by organizing Area Councils (North, East, West and Danieley), imrovements through Campus Relations and exciting Social and Educational programming. We have some wonderful oppurtunities for leadership with a co-programming chair, publicity chair and SGA rep for RSA.

Our first meeting is September 7 in Moseley 216 at 4:30 p.m. We will also being holding an Area Council Workshop Sept. 24. Hope to see you all there!
