Our Senior Sem group is conducting a public service campaign focusing on the many facets of body image. We would love for you to join us in some very informal, fun, and BRIEF focus group sessions, that are being moderated by students. They will take place Wednesday October 4th, and Thursday October 5th, at 7 pm- we only need you for ONE of those nights. We will be talking about how you feel about your body and the pressures we all feel in order to look amazing. Eating disorders, nutrition, fitness, and the twisted messages from the media will also be discussed. It promises to be a lively conversation!

IN ELON TRADITION- THERE WILL BE FREE FOOD AND A GIFT CERTIFICATE DRAWING! By participating you have a chance at winning a $25 gas card!!

PLEASE HELP US!!!! Participate in our focus group, get free food, and give us insight on the many issues surrounding body image! Men and Women are both needed.

This could encompass anorexia, bulemia, obesity, or excessive exercise. If a doctor has diagnosed you (or someone you know) with any of these disorders, we would like to talk to you. This is for our senior sem project, in we are forming an integrated marketing campaign to promote understanding and awareness of eating disorders, and also educate students about attaining their “best body,” not a idealized body that is likely not healthy. If you could talk to us about your disease, it would really help us with our research.

Each tab is 5 cents towards his chemo! Anyone who would like to donate can bring tabs to room 112 Sloan (there’s a pouch on the door) or drop them in any of the pouches on the soda machines around campus! Thank you so much!
