Spend 10 days immersed in service in a multi-faith community, learning about how Islam is practiced in Africa and attempting to break many of the misconceptions Americans hold about this faith.

Dates: May 24-June 4, 2010
Cost: Free for faculty (we merely ask for the donation of your time!)

Prior experience with French or Arabic is a plus but applicants of any skill level are welcome. Applications are available in the Kernodle Center for Service Learning or via email (kfeeney@elon.edu). Deadline to apply is January 15, 2010.

Do you want to immerse yourself in an entirely new experience?

Apply for the Alternate Break Service Trip Islamic Cultural Immersion to Ifrane, Morocco.

We will spend 10 days immersed in service in a multi-faith community, learning about how Islam is practiced in Africa and attempting to break many of the misconceptions Americans hold about this faith. This is an extremely distinct and matchless experience.

We will leave for Morocco a few days after graduation. Cost is $1850 and includes international airfare, accommodations, transportation, and food for the entire duration of the trip.
