It is a two-session study; the first session will take about 20 minutes and you will be filling out a packet of surveys. The second session will last about 30 minutes and you will undergo an individual interview.

If you participate in this study, you will have the chance to win one of three $50 Target gift cards. If you are interested in participating and are at least 18 years old, please e-mail Kimberly Abel at kabel@elon.edu with the time slot you would like to participate in. The individual interviews will be scheduled at the second session and will be scheduled at your convenience.

]]> Participants needed for summer research study /u/news/2008/06/30/participants-needed-for-summer-research-study/ Mon, 30 Jun 2008 18:26:00 +0000 /u/news/2008/06/30/participants-needed-for-summer-research-study/ I’m looking for individuals between the ages of 17-24 to participate in pilot testing for my study which is on body image and the attraction stage of romantic relationships.

You can be single or currently dating to be in this study. Participation will require about an hour of your time and you will be filling out a quick survey on body satisfaction and undergoing an interview asking about your body image and romantic relationships. The interview will be extremely casual and just looking for your thoughts on these subjects. If you are comfortable talking about these two subjects then you will be a great participant for the study.

Interviews would be scheduled anytime between 9am to 4pm on Monday through Friday. If you cannot make these times but wish to participate, we can figure out later times or even meet on the weekend.  Times will be chosen by the participants because I’ll work around your schedule!
